@halalfusiontaco is a Southeast Asian-inspired Mexican food truck with locations on Hallam Road and @eatsdandenong_ Dandenong! Owner Mubarak moved here from Singapore four years ago with no prior experience but a huge passion for food. He realised Southeast Asian flavours paired perfectly with Mexican cuisine… and he wasn’t wrong. His goal is to share a piece of who he is and his culture with Melbourne. What better way than through food right!? The menu features four meats, available in tacos, quesadillas, ramen or nachos plus a refreshing Thai milk tea. ⭐️ Beef Birria - juicy, slow cooked beef with a rich consommé. Always a standout. ⭐️ Beef Rendang - packed with flavour and a close runner up. ➖ Beef Tulang - bold, spicy with bone marrow. Not suited to my taste but great for those who love fat! ✔️ Chicken Satay - less peanutty, more curry style, slightly dry but still enjoyable. All the tacos are huge and loaded, they all tasted similar apart from the meat so you wont get FOMO if you just select one flavour. I would reccomend trying each dish with a different meat for variety! Such a clever fusion, delicious execution and genuinely one of the kindest owners you’ll meet. Now open for lunch and dinner! 🌮🔥

Delicious food here got 6 tacos for 50 all the flavours were excellent. Quesadilla had chicken was the best I've ever had chicken has a very nice marinade on it. Will be back for sure

HANDS DOWN the best tacos I ’ve ever had! I went last night and tried all three tacos – every single one was amazing, but the Rendang was next level! Unbelievable 🌶️ Our server, Azri, was so friendly and so helpful, which made the experience even better ☺️ Can’t wait to come back for more!
